Contemporary Christian Thought.


I heard a talking head on the radio speak with great passion about contemporary Christian thought. To me, Contemporary Christian thought is an oxymoron. There’s nothing contemporary about Christian thought. Now we do have contemporary Christian music, contemporary Christian worship service, contemporary Christian clothes, contemporary Christian hairstyles, and contemporary Christian doughnuts. But think about it, there’s nothing really cotemporary about true Christian thought. Christian thought says that Christ died for us and that particular thought is over two thousand years old.
